Eyebrow Waxing
An overview
For starters, the DIY version of this is a rip-off (literally). Not to mention once you do it, if it’s not right, you’ll be waiting a while for round number two — and while you’re waiting, you’ll have misshapen eyebrows!
It’s always best to seek the services of a professional with this process: I apply a thin layer of warm wax and then a paper strip gently pressed on, then the wax hardens, trapping all the fine hairs.
Then of course the hard part: the swift pull, removing the hairs from the root.
But it’s not as painful as you might think!
Types of wax used
Undoubtedly, the strongest wax achieves the best results. But if you have very sensitive skin, a “soft wax” can also be used. Many clients even think that it, in fact, will adhere to the fine hairs somewhat better, softening them for an easy pull. You may also notice you have less chance of missing any stray hairs.
