Mindblowing, right? First is the “pre-facial” (consultation form) where the esthetician gets to know the nuances of your skin. Second is prep, third is deep cleansing, fourth is a steam treatment to open up your pores, then exfoliation — followed by extraction, facial mask, a toner or astringent, and then moisturizer and sun protectant.
So, indeed…. A lot goes into an acne facial!
